Request for Travel Authorization (RTA) - West Texas staff
Staff based at the Observatory in West Texas must submit a Request for Travel Authorization (RTA) anytime they will be away from their workplace for more than four hours, or plan to request reimbursement for travel funds.
Staff requesting travel and their supervisor will receive a copy of the RTA.

Submit a completed travel reimbursement form with required receipts and documentation to Hayley Hardeway within 30 days of returning from travel.

Maintenance Request
Submit a maintenance request for facilities at McDonald Observatory. You should receive an automated email to let you know your request was received.
Astronomers Lodge Meeting Room Reservations
The first floor meeting room at the Astronomers Lodge can accommodate up to 30 people for a meeting or private meal. The room contains tables, chairs, and a projection system.
